Artist Statement:
My work encompasses a broad variety of mediums; however, most of those mediums are two-dimensional. I have worked with drawing, acrylic painting, cross stitch, film & digital photography, ceramics and more.
I am most interested in transferring the human experience (identity, feelings, and connection) into the work I create. Sometimes that transference is more literal through works that are personifications of a selected emotion. Other times the work requires the active participation of the viewer to project or receive the inherent emotion of the piece. In this respect, I use my art as a channel to draw out my unspoken experiences and draw in those who would witness it.
